In the fist half of this month, China’s assertive activities are increasingly prominent. <\/p>\n

From August 2 to 5, Chinese Coast Gurad vessels invaded Japanese territorial waters around the Senkakus. <\/p>\n

From August 4, China and Russia have begun the joint naval exercise in the Sea of Japan.
\n Both countries will hold a maritime joint patrol in the Pacific Ocean after exercise.<\/p>\n

On August 11, two Chinese ships collided in the waters around the Scaborough Shoal.
\n These ships were pursuing the Philippine coast guard ship. After this incident, tension between China and the Philippine are rising while involving other countries.
\n The US deployed two naval vessels to the South China Sea and Chinese naval vessels pursued them. On August 14, Chinese fighter jets approached the Philippine airplane in the airspace over the Scaborogh Shoal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
